In short: CNC Poker is the coaching platform we work with for our English and Portuguese-speaking players. Instead of a fixed library of old videos, it's built around live group sessions and 1-on-1 coaching with active mid and high-stakes pros, plus performance and mental game coaches. You choose who you learn from and only pay for the sessions you want.
Why we work with CNC Poker
At Standard Backing, coaching is part of what we offer every player. But no single coach can cover every format, stake and style. CNC Poker gives us, and our players, access to a wide roster of coaches who are still beating the games today. The model is simple and fair: coaches earn based on attendance, so they're motivated to deliver sessions that are genuinely useful.
How it works
Live group coaching
Interactive sessions where a coach breaks down concepts, reviews hands and answers questions in real time. If you can't attend live, every session you sign up for stays in your personal video library with lifetime access.
1-on-1 coaching
Book private sessions with the coach that fits your format and stakes. Coaches are organized by level (including Premium and Pro tiers), so you can choose a more affordable Pro coach at lower stakes or a Premium coach when you're moving into tougher games.
Performance and mental game
Dedicated performance coaches help with tilt, focus, routines and decision-making under pressure, the part of the game that often decides whether a talented player makes it.
Community
A private community of serious players where you can discuss hands, share schedules and learn from each other.
How our players use it
- Join group sessions on the spots they struggle with most.
- Book 1-on-1 sessions before moving up in stakes.
- Work with a mental game coach during downswings or before big series.
Pricing
CNC Poker uses a membership plus pay-per-session model: after joining, you only pay for the group sessions or private coaching you choose. There is also a dedicated platform for Brazil with local pricing.
What to keep in mind
CNC Poker is designed for players who already have solid fundamentals and a real bankroll. Complete beginners will get more value from free content and structured courses first.
